What an amazing experience! My mom and I enjoyed the Heaven and Earth massages today with Kim and Nancy…seriously the best massage experience we have ever had! Treat your self!
Would recommend ★★★★☆
Very personable people and I had great service.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing ★★★★★
Most amazing, pampering delightful experience ever. I have never had this type of facial ..ever in my adult life. It was relaxing, I felt completely comfortable during entire treatment. I also opted for the additional eye treatment. My 11 year old had her own facial..not as extensive but she loved it. Plus, she had time to check out sauna while I was still getting my facial. Hopefully we will be staying at same resort at some point and I will most definitely have facial as #1 priority.
I loved the spa ★★★★☆
I had a couples massage and facial and both were amazing. The receptionist was very rude to me and also a mother and daughter that had came in after. Not sure why she still works there after that.
Favorite Spa location ★★★★★
As a local absolutely my favorite spa in the area. Gorgeous, attention to detail and the staff is top notch. Best facial I’ve had in my life and the massage was exactly what I needed. Now making standing appointments every other month. Will also be bringing friends and suggesting to guests from out of town. Cannot imagine being disappointed here.
Pay Cash ★☆☆☆☆
I scheduled the Pick Two, 25 mins facial and 25 mins foot massage for $85. I absolutely enjoyed every moment of the facial but I didn’t enjoy the foot massage, I barely felt the massage and it didn’t last 25 minutes. After the sessions, I paid $85 + 20% gratuity and service tax. Which was no surprise because those fees were listed in super small print on their advertisements. What I wasn’t expecting was an additional $30 hold on my debit card. I called the Spa and questioned the charge and was advised that my bank picked the amount that was charged to the card . When I attempted to question her statement, she rudely spoke over me, so I thanked her for her assistance and called my bank. As I already new, banks do not pre-authorize amounts that are not submitted by a company. What I did learn was Hibiscus Spa submits pre-authorizations with an additional $30 fee (just in case) they need to add an additional charge. Wow! I’m going to assume that because this is a high vacation/tourist area, instead of losing money by charging an incorrect amount, they over charge and submit the receipt for the correct amount later.Sneaky and underhanded and unexpected from The Marriot.
Couples Massage ★★★★★
My fiancee and I enjoyed a couples message at the Hibiscus Spa last weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The therapists we worked with were true professionals. The locker rooms are spacious and relaxing, including a steam room and sauna. If Myrtle Beach were closer I would treat myself to returning as often as possible!
No Appointments No Groupon ★★★☆☆
I’d like to know why I was told they can’t book any nail appointments? I have a Groupon & that was what I was told…first she couldn’t book any appointments for 3 weeks, so I said I’ll book for after then & she said that wasn’t possible either! If they don’t want to allow new customers come in with Groupons, they shouldn’t advertise on Groupon. The woman told me I could get my money back from Groupon, or book a different service. That can’t be any clearer that if I was opting for a less expensive service they (at least this woman) only want the higher priced services & that isn’t how you get new customers!y.
